CLC offers several extended hours options, as detailed below:

CREATIVE ENRICHMENT

Dates: Check back soon for dates of our next session
Days: Monday-Friday
Time: 1:00-3:30pm
Eligibility: Creative Enrichment program offered to any child in Robins, Finches, Bluebirds, Orioles or Eagles class
Number of children: Minimum 6, Maximum 15
Location: Classroom 1
Teachers: CLC staff
Snack: Child packs own snack/CLC provides drink
Activities: Science experiments, large muscle activity, small group games, quiet "down time," literacy-building, art projects, small muscle activities, music and movement.
Regular fee: $10/hour
Drop-in fee: $12/hour as space allows.

Specialized Options

When other special programs, such as soccer or yoga, are offered, a child enrolled in Creative Enrichment will participate in that special activity at no additional fee.

Soccer Shots is a program designed to introduce your child to soccer! It is designed for children ages 3-5. Parents do not need to attend. Instructors are energetic and enthusiastic, and love working with children. Throughout the course of the program, instructors work with your child to help them improve balance, coordination, and agility, while practicing teamwork, sharing, and respect.

Dates: Spring, 2012 - check back soon for exact dates
Time: 1:00-1:45pm
Fee: $85/7-week session (includes certificate of participation and Soccer Shots t-shirt)

Kids yoga is a fun, creative approach to yoga that can be very helpful for children whose bodies are still developing. It is designed for children ages 3-5. The animated poses and basic stretching exercises promote strength, flexibility, coordination and body awareness. Breathing and visualization techniques teach kids how to focus, relax and develop self-control.

We offer a Lunch Bunch extended program for the Finches AM class. The major objective of this program is to encourage social development. The group also engages in learning enrichment activities and enjoys a second outdoor learning and large muscle time. Children remain in their classroom to eat lunch together with the group, then spend time on learning enrichment activities and take a second outdoor learning and large muscle time.
Dates: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday on most regularly scheduled class days
Hours: 11:30am to 1:00pm
Fees: $15 per day

POLICIES

Cancelation Policy: If classes are canceled for a day on which your child was scheduled to attend Creative Enrichment, you will not be billed for that day.
Security: Children who stay for any extended program will be escorted by CLC staff to the activity area.

REGISTRATION

A Registration Form for Creative Enrichment will be included in the summer packet to parents of enrolled students, and will be posted on the website. Indicate which days child will be attending. A $50 deposit is required with the registration form.

PAYMENT

Invoices will be generated at the end of each month for the balance due.
