Welcome Day
and
The First Day of School
​
Please join Creative Learning Center staff for Welcome Day. Your child will have an opportunity to meet his/her new teachers and visit the classroom before the first day of school.
​
Community Helpers Visit
Creative Learning Center will be visited by several local community helpers. The firefighters, police, rescue squad and a dentist will come to school and explain their very important roles in our community.
Pumpkin Patch and Other Fieldtrips
​
Our CLC families will take a field trip to the pumpkin patch and have a chance to meet the farm animals. In addition to our pumpkin patch field trip, each class with their families will have an additional field trip (TBD) in the spring.
Restaurant Night - Fundraisers
​​
CLC families are welcome to join us for a fun evening out at a local restaurant. This is a great opportunity to mingle with other CLC families and our incredible staff. A portion of the restaurant sales proceeds will be used to purchase new equipment for our school.
Halloween Parties
​
At the end of October our students will dress-up and enjoy a fun day of games, treats, song and celebration! Parents please check with your child's teacher for party day specifics. Parent volunteers are much appreciated. Sign-up sheets will be posted in the hall during the month of October. Parents are welcome to join us for the class parade and party. Parents, please check the CLC News for classroom specific times/dates.
Pajama Day/Drive
​
In December the children learn the importance of giving during the holiday season. Students may wear their PJ's to school and donate a set of Pajamas for families at the Stepping Stones Shelter.
Family Holiday Sing-Along
​
In December, we invite our families for a Holiday Sing-Along to celebrate their holiday traditions and cultures during this festive time of year.
​
Box Week
​
Save your boxes this winter for our annual Box Week at Creative Learning Center! During Box Week, our students will bring several boxes to school to build amazing and inventive creations with their classmates. Their beautiful creations will be on display at the end of the week.
​
Valentine Parties
​
In February our children will celebrate the day with an exchange of valentines and fun party activities. Parents please check the party treat sign-up sheet in the hall if you would like to make a contribution.
Rainforest Puppet Show
​
A local puppet company will visit us this spring to give our students a fun and educational Rainforest Puppet Show.
Under The Sea
Under The Sea - A live demonstration at CLC about the wonderful creatures that can be found in our oceans.
Parent Appreciation Breakfast
​
At the end of the school year we invite all our parents for coffee and breakfast to show our appreciation for their efforts during the school year.
